KORE Therapy

1 hour - £45

KORE (Kinaesthetic Optimum Recovery Enhancement) Therapy integrates a unique blend of Western and Eastern assessment and treatment techniques to support and promote the body’s own natural ability to heal.

KORE Therapy is much more than a massage.  Unlike most other therapies, it is a whole system approach.  Instead of just looking at ‘what’ the problem is, KORE Therapy uses a series of gentle muscle testing to find ‘why’ the problem is there. For example:

  • Knee pain could be caused by a pelvic imbalance
  • Lower back pain could be caused by a neck restriction
  • Hamstring problems could be a result of an imbalance in the cranial bones
  • Skin issues could be coming from the digestive system
  • Depression and fatigue could be related to a pelvic strain.

A weak muscle test will identify where your restrictions or imbalances lie. This enables your brain to recognise the primary root cause and it will initiate an immune response to correct the imbalance even before treatment begins.  Without identifying and treating the root causes, symptoms are only ever going to be masked and will keep returning.

Following treatment, weak muscles tests always test stronger, proving the healing process has already begun.  The ability to show almost immediate improvement is what sets KORE therapy apart from other therapies.

KORE Therapy can be used to manage a variety of health problems and symptoms such as:

Back, neck and shoulder pain

Joint pain and stiffness

Headaches

Fatigue

Insomnia

Digestive issues

Menstrual problems

Infertility

Skin complaints

Stress

Anxiety

Food intolerances

Treatment draws on a range of successful complimentary therapy techniques to release, realign, and rebalance your body.  Treatment will always be tailored to suit your unique needs using one or more healing techniques such as:

Tui Na Massage

Tui Na (pronounced tweena) massage is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). TCM views that illness and disease are caused by a weakness, imbalance, or blockage in our flow of life force energy called Qi. Tui Na is a powerful, deep massage which aims to restore the flow of Qi and relax muscles.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy has been used across the world for thousands of years.  The vacuum created by the cups on the skin can help to promote healing by easing painful stiff muscles and joints, reduce inflammation, improve soft tissue damage and may help to relieve many other conditions.

Anmo Fu - Abdominal Massage

Anmo Fu is an ancient Chinese healing system.  It is a deep oil based abdominal massage which aims to restore balance to our physical and mental health and can have an amazing effect on digestive, lower back, menstrual, skin and emotional problems.

Cranial Balancing and Stress Release

Through gentle movements of the head this treatment aims to restore balance and release restrictions within the skull and spine.  The treatment is very relaxing and can help many conditions such as headaches, sinus problems, jaw pain, anxiety and depression.

Qi Gong

Qi Gong literally means ‘energy work’ and influences healing by rebalancing the movement and flow of Qi. This is a very gentle but powerful treatment that is used for easing joint pain and stiffness and for rebalancing internal organs.

The KORE Therapy programme of assessment and treatment does not replace professional healthcare diagnosis, advice or treatment but can be viewed as a therapy which compliments it.  You should always consult your GP on new or persistent symptoms.
